Decrease in the number of H-1B visas accepted makes it difficult for Indians who want to work in America
Currently 900,000 people with H-1B visas in US. 35 to 45% of those are Indian.
Some technology companies are shifting from the H-1B visas (for skilled professionals) to the L-1 (for unskilled professionals) because of stricter limits on the number of H1-B petitions that can be accepted.
